Until recently, I lived in the Washington, DC area. Though I have never been politically active, I have, on occasion, participated in demonstrations, marches and other gatherings, especially when these gatherings were advocating for positions that match my personal beliefs. I enjoy watching the people, reading the signs, experiencing the generally positive vibe from the people around me, and, of course, taking pictures. Since moving to Portsmouth, NH, I have had the opportunity to participate in one march and one rally...so far...
