When I first became interested in photography I was chiefly a nature and landscape photographer. I was not unique in this; for whatever reason, nature photography seems to be where many photographers I know also began. Despite my current enjoyment of street and urban photography, I will always shoot what is in front of me. I still enjoy nature photography, and I am fortunate that, due to its many gardens, parks and the Piscataqua River, Portsmouth provides ample opportunities for nature photography. Here is a small sample, and, as with other pages on this website, this is a living , growing, collection...and, oh BTW, in case you didn't notice, I really enjoy taking photos of bees....
